A Sacred Space For Grief
A four day retreat to mourn, remember and reconnect.
Friday 2nd to Monday 5th October 2026
NSW Labour Day Weekend
Katoomba, Blue Mountains, NSW
Grief is not something to be completed, resolved or pushed through.
Grief is not the five step program you were promised.
Grief is like glitter that spilt many years ago and still keeps showing up in the oddest places. It is the occasional unexpected visitor. It is the nagging pain in your heart. It may be connected to your sore shoulder, your cranky moods, the way you shut down, or the issues you are having with sleep.
Reconciling Grief is a long weekend retreat for men who are carrying loss, change, sadness, regret, heartbreak or the quiet grief they rarely speak about.
You are invited into a safe and confidential space to honour your grief, create space for what has been held inside, and begin to find a more compassionate way to live with what has changed.

Why this retreat is for men
Many men are taught to keep going, stay strong, be useful and not become a burden. But grief does not disappear because we ignore it. It often finds other ways to speak through the body, through anger, withdrawal, exhaustion, sleep issues, numbness or feeling disconnected from life. This retreat offers men a different kind of space. Not a place where you need to perform, explain yourself perfectly or have it all worked out. A place where grief can be spoken, witnessed, honoured and held with respect.
A supportive retreat, not a replacement for therapy
This retreat is designed as a reflective, educational and supportive group experience. It may be deeply meaningful, but it is not a replacement for counselling, psychotherapy, medical care or crisis support. This retreat may not be suitable if you are currently in acute crisis, feeling unsafe, recently bereaved and highly unstable, or needing intensive clinical support.
